The Extended Employment offered by OTC is intended to provide a realistic as possible work experience to individuals with disabilities who are not currently seeking a competitive job.  The program offers a variety of manufacturing, assembly and packaging jobs assignments to the participants to experience. In addition, the opportunity to perform work activities in the food service, material handling, janitorial and clerical areas are also available. All consumers participating in this program are assigned to an OTC Counselor who is responsible for coordinating and monitoring their programming and assuring that the Individual Extended Employment Program (IEEP) that is developed is relevant to each consumer’s needs. The NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) provides funding for the majority of the participants in this program  and  a very limited number of consumers are funded by the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
