The Supervised Apartment Program offers individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities the opportunity to live in the community in their own apartments with a roommate. The program offers the individuals the chance to live in the community on their own but also provides the structure and supervision that they require to be safe. Each individual receives personal instruction in many areas including personal safety, daily living skills, money management, and transportation. The purpose of the program is to help each individual achieve their highest level of independence with an eye towards moving into the Supportive Living Program when they ready. The apartment programs are located in Camden County. They provide 24-hour on-site supervision. Individuals who are interested in applying for the program must be referred by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Individuals should possess a basic skill level in the areas of daily living skills, personal care, and community safety skills.
