Group Home Programs offer program participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to live in the community in a safe and pleasant home. The homes are located throughout Camden County and provide services to individuals with a wide range of abilities and medical needs. A number of the homes are equipped and staffed to provide services to individuals who have medical involvement in addition to a developmental disability. Individuals must be referred by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) to be eligible for services. Each program provides 24-hour supervision. The homes are designed to provide each individual with the opportunity to live in the community, gain a greater level of independence and to reach his or her maximum potential. Each home also offers a recreation program that allows the individuals to choose the activities that interest them and encourages them to experience new things. Staff members work with the individuals to help them achieve their goals and live a full and safe life in the community.
